2009 Elections:
In the ten years since the downfall of former President Suharto, rapid social, economic and political developments have transformed Indonesia from a harshly repressive dictatorship to a chaotic yet functional democracy.

The country is now preparing for another momentous election year with parliamentary elections in April and the first round of Presidential elections in July.

In the run-up to the polls, TAPOL is publishing a series of election updates focusing on key issues and providing a digest of latest news and analysis. These can be obtained by clicking on the 'Elections' link above.
Publications:
Tapol have a range of publications available for order.

To see a full list of these, and for details on how to order, please check out our publications section.
