GreenNet email accounts have been subject to persistent “phishing” for email passwords for over a year. We’ve been mostly successful in blocking this, but unusually some got through today: you may have seen a message headed “Code 526 Valid”, linking to a survey site that is abused. Of course GreenNet did not send this message and will never ask for your password. Spammers do this to gain access to a trusted server for sending further scams.
