Below is a brief description of the most important technical features of our web hosting environment.
Hosting environment
We provide hosting on servers running Debian GNU/Linux. The Debian Linux distribution is considered stable and secure.
Web Server
We host our web sites on Apache — the most widely used web server on the planet. Nowadays, we run Apache version 2 but we can also offer Apache 1.3 if needed.
MySQL
We run MySQL version 5 on a dedicated database server. As an interface for database administration we have phpMyAdmin.
PHP
We offer PHP version 5 (by default) and version 4. Please indicate on your hosting application if you want to use PHP 4.
CGI scripts
We also offer CGI script support. Again, please indicate on your hosting application that you require CGI support.
FTP and SFTP
We support active and passive FTP access by default. Please indicate on your hosting application if you want to use SFTP.
