Filestores provide a secure, searchable and structured place for all your organisation’s sharable documents. If your organisation has people working from home, or in other remote locations, a filestore gives them the same networked access to the office as everyone else has – from anywhere that’s got an internet connection. GreenNet’s careful backup management also gives you the peace of mind that nothing’s ever lost.
You can access your file store through your ordinary file manager on the desktop from Windows, Max OS X, Linux, NetBSD, and FreeBSD - anything that supports the WebDAV protocol (such as iPhones and Android phones).
Windows 7 now ships with great WebDAV compatibility out of the box! So, you can use a GreenNet filestore with Windows 7 without having to install any extra software. However, with Windows XP and Windows Vista, we still recommend using WebDrive client software.
