genetiX snowball activists face prison
after pulling up GM test site
despite court injunction

Information on the August 3rd action:

Early on August 3rd Jo Hamilton, Rowan Tilly & Martin Shaw from genetiX snowball defied the court injunction against them and pulled up GM oilseed rape from an AgrEvo deliberate release site. This action is likely to result in prison terms for the three snowballers as they will be in contempt of court. They have taken this action primarily to resist corporate bullying and manipulation of the legal system for the benefit of multinational corporations.

The following information details why the action was carried out, and why those involved chose to breach the injunction placed upon them by AgrEvo
