The volcano 'Lusi' - which has been spewing thousands of tons of steaming mud since May, submerging four villages, fields and factories, causing subsidence and permanently displacing 11,000 people - was triggered by gas exploration in porous limestone, a study says. The study contradicts claims by the Indonesian government that it was a natural disaster.
