International Women's Day was marked by the attack, arrest and detention of over thirty women's rights defenders in front of Tehran's Revolutionary Court. Shadi Sadr, Mahbubeh Abbasgholizadeh, and Jila Baniyaghoub are still in ward 209 of Evin Prison. Human rights groups are calling for their immediate and unconditional release.
