Physicists ask US Congress to forbid use of nuclear weapons against non-nuclear states

22 prominent physicists, including 12 Nobel laureates, prompted by Bush's comment that a nuclear strike against Iran was 'an option on the table', have urged Congress to support the NPT and 'pass binding legislation' to prevent the President taking sole action that 'could ultimately threaten the survival of civilization'.
