Wolvercote Farmers Market was launched in October 2003 by a local organic farmer. All our fresh farm produce is ORGANICALLY GROWN, most of it certified organic by the Soil Association, LOCAL, SOLD DIRECTLY BY THE FARMERS THEMSELVES, and all our LIVESTOCK is RAISED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF WELFARE. We also sell jams, chutneys, pates, breads, pastries, biscuits, cakes, all locally produced, environmentally friendly household goods (cleaners, shampoos, soaps) and fair trade and/or organic groceries like coffee, tea, sugar, rice, dried fruit, seeds and chocolate.

We will tell of leading figures in music who have been life Vice-Presidents, who occupied or occupy other leading positions in the WMA, and we will write something about their activities and achievements. There are also sister organisations about which we will tell you that have similar traditions to those of the WMA.
