What we are trying to do at Mathaba.net (pronounced Ma-thah-ba) is to make a homepage and meeting place for people concerned with social justice around the world.

Anti-Slavery International is the worlds oldest international human rights organisation, founded in 1839. It is the only charity in the United Kingdom to work exclusively against slavery and related abuses.

CDEC is an independent charity educating for a fair and sustainable world. CDEC uses participatory and experiential learning to engage people of all ages with issues of social justice, development and sustainability. Work includes themes such as diversity and effective school linking, and training in delivering global citizenship, using Philosophy for Children (P4C) and simulation activities etc.

The Forest Peoples Programme supports forest peoples rights to determine their own futures, control use of their lands and carry out sustainable use of their resources. Much of the site is in French and Spanish as well as English.
