We have a vacancy in the Rights in Crisis campaign team for a campaigner to join our busy campaign team, helping to deliver humanitarian campaigning across a broad range of issues including protection of civilians, aid and assistance and arms control.

This post will involve working with colleagues across Oxfam International, external alliance partners, and international regions. You’ll need to be confident, flexible and have the energy to take on high-pressure projects in what will be a very busy time for the campaign. The post is an open-ended contract, but may also be available as a short-term contract option. You will be a creative and experienced Campaigner with excellent project management skills. You will understand and be able to shape campaigning strategies to achieve impact in both national and international contexts and you will have an understanding of campaigning in the global South. You will have a track record in popular campaigning, alliance work and communication strategies. You will be a good team player, but able to act on your own initiative and prioritise tasks in a complex and challenging role.   • Leading on specific areas of campaign planning, execution and evaluation, on conflict campaigning work
  • Membership of Conflict campaign project team, helping to shape and implement the Oxfam GB Conflict campaign strategy
  • Seeking opportunities for one-off campaign ‘hits’
  • Contributing to the development of supporter bases.
  • Developing new and innovative ways of campaigning on humanitarian issues.
  • Contributing to monitoring and evaluation of campaign.
  • Contributing to internal communication of the campaigning.
  • Developing alliances to further impact of campaigning on arms and conflict issues
