REFORESTING EARTHS’ MOUNTAINS ENVIRONMENTAL DEVELOPMENT YOGA
The R.E.M.E.D.Y Project has been established to offer a viable alternative to the massive Environmental breakdown, climate change, Global warming and fresh water shortages, which are now threatening most of life on Earth.
Our purpose is to bring attention to this problem and to offer a solution, a Global Remedy, to help safeguard the long term health and sustainable future for life on this planet. This alternative offers vast possibilities and solutions to many problems that are now being faced. Problems that will undoubtedly be faced more extremely, unless we think Globally, act Locally and take a long term view on behalf of ours, our children’s’ and life of Earth’s future.
The majority of fresh waters supplying the source waters for Earths Rivers and the mountain snows are made in Mountain regions, through the precipitation of Mountain forests. When these Mountain forests are removed, the whole cycle breaks down. Far less snow is made, glaciers retreat, major rivers dry up and freshwater, which is vital for so many diverse life forms is no longer accessible. Nowadays, more than 50% of Earth’s Mountain Forests have been removed. This seriously affects the Global climate and all corresponding cycles and threatens life on Earth with potential extinction within thirty years.
The obvious way to avert this outcome is to reforest Earth’s Mountain Regions fast.
Due to the present erosion conditions in Mountain Regions re-forestation is not simple and a pioneer plant, providing both a strong root system and canopy would have to be introduced to enable the other local indigenous plants and trees to be able to take root and grow.
The natural properties of the Hemp plant show it to be the most viable and effective one to use in these conditions and it is indigenous to Mountain Regions
To implement and show the effectiveness of our claims, we are interested in establishing pilot projects throughout the Himalayas and other Mountain ranges to put the R.E.M.E.D.Y ideas into practice.
In the meantime we are working on spreading this vital information worldwide. We believe that if we all work together we can save life on Earth, help regenerate it and live on to see a happier, harmonious future for all.
