I use Outlook express 5. I have "hangup after sending and receiving" ticked, but recently, it doesn't. 10 mins or so after I have sent and received i get a "would you like to disconnect" box... but it's not doing its stuff. Any thoughts?

This still happens quite often.... anyone out there know what to do?????

I think this is might be yet another Microsoftism, ie a bug. My parents' computer did the same thing.
Best I can suggest is to switch to a better email program, eg Eudora, Pegasus etc. Check that they can import folders, messages and addresses from Outlook first (most do).
