Re: Web design software

I have used Nvu for some time now but it does have some bugs. Development after 1.0 seems rather slow, but an individual developer, Kaze, has been working on an unofficial bug-fix called Kompozer. I have installed version 0.7.7 for Windows and it has fixed a particularly annoying Nvu bug that defined align and valign in cells as "undefined" that it not correct HTML 4.01. It hasn't crashed yet - Nvu often stops behaving itself after a longish period of use.

More about Kompozer and download links on on SourceForge

Information also on Softpedia

It is intended for developers but it will work independently of any other application, so you can go back to that if you're not happy with Kompozer.
