Usually Eudora will find any old installation (which is good). You don't need the TOC files because they will be rebuilt if not present. For copying to a new machine, the link below may be useful:

You can often get removal tools for the major virus epidemics from www.sophos.com, and of course AVG free edition from www.grisoft.com is an effective antivirus.
