Re: Problems downloading Norton

Thanks Phil,

very helpful, but I had to give up eventually & take my computer to the menders.

Where they found 9 viruses and over 1 thousand infected files.

My biggest problem was that when I bought the PC I considered a CD writer a luxury I couldn't afford, so I had no means of removing my data quickly.

I have now bought an ibook, which is great, & I was planning to get rid of the PC and just use the apple. However part of my work is uploading documents to the website of one of my clients, and to do that I use a text editor located on their site. This text editor only works with Windows - they haven't developed oen for use with a mac, so I spent the best part of today setting up my pc again.

Which is ok, but I downloaded a new version of Eudora and I can't find the .mbx or .toc files anywhere, nor can I find the place on the mac where the mailboxes are kept, so I'm stumped for how you move mailboxes from one computer to the other.

Any ideas?

Thanks for bothering to read this far!

and for any help you can give me

Best regards,

Kate
