If not already resolved and you have your product key and the invoice to prove you bought it then I think Microsoft should be able to send you a copy of W98SE unless it is an OEM version in which case your supplier would be expected to sort this out for you. There is no need to obtain an illegal copy or copy from a CD that is not yours which would make the O/S illegal for use. Perhaps you could learn from this and take a back up of the Operating System and software application software.
