We, at the Mines and Communities website (www.minesandcommunities.org) are putting up a page for donations.
Obviously we can give details of our bank account & address etc. for people that want to make bank payments or write cheques - but it would be excellent if people could link to some sort of instant, secure payment system. The problem is I doubt we'll get enough credit cards to become a credit card vendor.
I have approached GreenNet and they don't offer any sort of proxy credit card service (although they mentioned Paypal - but had heard people are not always happy with it & it is commercial). I was wondering if GreenNet users are aware, of any UK-based donation acceptance programmes/organisations for charities (as it may well be cheaper & more convenient for us).
