Domain Registry of America Scam

Have you just received a letter in the post from ‘Domain Registry of America’ (DRoA), urging you to pay them for renewing your domain name? The paper, with a London address on the back, looks like a bill and tries to scare the reader with “Your registration will expire on May 10, 2005. Act today!”

Don’t worry about your domain, this is a scam!

Also note that a scam gang impersonating GreenNet is active again. Please do not reply to any email claiming to be from ‘gn.apc.org message centre’ and asking for passwords.

Power failure Friday 14/11/2008 and Saturday 15/11/2008

Friday night the co-location center we host our servers in was hit by a power failure. After the power supply was restored our engineers restored most services through the night and early hours of Saturday morning.

A second power failure hit the co-location center Saturday afternoon. We have managed to restore all services by 6pm Saturday.

We apologise for the inconvenience.
