Plants revealed as methane source.

The journal Nature reports that Scientists in Germany have discovered that ordinary plants produce significant amounts of methane, a powerful greenhouse gas. This unexpected finding, if confirmed, will have an impact on both greenhouse-gas accounting and research into sources of methane.
