BUILD UNITY AND ACTION TO WIN:
The UKBA revocation of London Met's status is a full frontal attack on public education for all poor and working class, black, Asian and immigrant communities, disguised as an 'immigration matter'. Throwing out international students is sure to lead to course closures, redundancies and a shortfall in funds to subsidise courses to poorer students. Racism is the cynical device that covers these cuts - pushing the blame on to immigrants.
We must tell it like it is, unify as Home, EU and international students, and defeat this divide and rule strategy. The UKBA action is insane and will unite many people against it. Movement for Justice calls on all students of every college and university to stand up now and organise! MARCH on Friday the 14th, and continue to march as more students return over the next few weeks. To win we must stand together, express our anger, and build our movement to Shut Down London and truly assert the anger, power and confidence of our communities to decide the future of our society and our education.
