Oakenwood's Herbal Weekend Workshops Oakenwood Society is a voluntary group of people who enjoy learning and teaching on the subject of herbs. After two successful years of workshops, in 2009 we offer 4 weekend workshops through the summer months that are hosted on a farm set between Bristol and Cardiff . Come and relax, unwind, make new friends and learn some of the secrets that herbs contain, that are good for your health as well as your pocket. Learn how to grow and prepare herbs, discover their many uses, make herbal skin products, ointments and creams, and much more. Workshops are run throughout the summer, from June to August inclusive. We try to supply the basics of everything you’re likely to need, from tents to food, but you can also bring your own if you want. We are easy-going, more into the “hands on approach” of doing things and not paid for what we do! If this sounds like your idea of a relaxing, different kind of weekend break, with the opportunity to learn at the same time, all you have to do is get in contact to book a place or find out more.
