WORLDbytes is the new online magazine channel, home to feisty alternative news programmes created by volunteers at WORLDwrite. It aims to get behind the headlines and promote a people-first perspective on a wide-range of issues; so don’t shout at the telly, change the message on it! Check out www.worldbytes.org WORLDbytes is offering a unique opportunity to new volunteers to join the crew and take part in a three day intensive on-the-job film training weekend while shooting for the next news programmes. The training is free to young people aged 16 – 25 who would like to get involved in the charity’s work and come along to more shoots, presentations and discussions in the future. The training will be happening Saturday 4th – Monday 6th April and the days will be roughly 9am to 8pm. To get involved and be part of the crew you should be available for all three days of the course, and also attend a WORLDbytes Crew meeting on 1st April at 7.30pm at the WORLDwrite Centre in Hackney. Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment by applying online at http://www.worldbytes.org/training-booking.html For information email world.write@btconnect.com or call 020 8985 5435.
