I told my kids today that we were about to launch the GreenNet website and they asked me if we’d be using a rocket or a space ship. In the event it was a bit less dramatic than that. Mimo typed in some commands on the server, and I went out for a cup of tea with Liz and Hattie.
Well there was a bit more to it than that…

It’s the 29th of April 2008. Forty days of rain, impending mayoral elections, and the new web site is almost ready to go live. But is it really ready to go live?!

I have decided to enable the blog facility here on the new GN web site. The aim of this is to document significant technical development on the site and the way things are done. Also, it should allow other GN workers to see what features are new/available. Screenshots inside!
